The Better Access initiative is increasing community access to mental health professionals and team-based mental health care, with general practitioners encouraged to work more closely and collaboratively with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, registered psychologists and appropriately trained social workers and occupational therapists.

Residential services are for families experiencing significant parenting challenges that require a care plan and interventions that are more intensive. Residential services offer a four night five day stay. Referral from a health professional is required. Day Stay is a free child and family health centre based service with a maximum of three appointments for parents with early parenting concerns. A referral to one of our allied health workers can be made available if required. The Tresillian team of child and family health nurses, psychologists, social workers and paediatricians work in partnership with parents.

ATAPS enables General Practitioners across western Sydney to refer financially disadvantaged or hard to reach clients to an ATAPS provider at no cost, who may not have their needs met via Medicare subsidised services. ATAPS is a complimentary service to the already existing Medicare (Better Access) mental health services.

Therapeutic support group provided over a 12 month period, from approximately 24 weeks gestation through to 9 months of age. Weekly group meets on a Monday facilitated by Family Workers and Play Facilitator for babies. Support also includes individual family work for referrals and follow up.
