St. John of God Raphael Services
We are an outpatient secondary Perinatal & Infant Mental Health Service offering specialised care and treatment to women, their partners and their families during pregnancy and until the child is 4 years of age. In addition to preconception counselling our services are targeted at clients with symptoms in the mild to moderate range of perinatal mental health disorder. We are a multidisciplinary team of skilled perinatal and infant mental health professionals, including psychiatrist, psychologist and credentialed mental health nurses.

Referral Eligibility: Pregnant women or families with children aged 0-4. Clients are NOT eligible if: - Acute or enduring psychotic illness - Active suicide and, or homicidal intent - Significant child protection issues - Current alcohol or other drug abuse - Recent history of violence or aggression - Current family custody disputes undergoing legal proceedings
Fees: Payment for services provided by Raphael Centre is covered by Medicare bulk billing. To access this funding referral from a GP will be required.
