The Assessment and Referral Team (ART) is a part of the Wellbeing Services (Counselling, Welfare, Disability and Mental Health & Wellbeing). ART provides triage and crisis support for students and for academic and professional staff supporting students' who are experiencing distress and difficult situations. Our services include:

- Assisting staff in recognising and managing complex student behaviours, challenging situations, or responding to a crisis or critical incident.
- Providing first responder support to students with safety concerns.
- Assessing risk, advising on student wellbeing, providing case management and referrals to internal/external support services.
- Working collaboratively with staff to determine reasonable steps and actions to support students’ wellbeing and meet their academic goals.
